Top Tips - Party Decorations

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all well and thought it was about time I had another blog post written. We are as busy as ever here at Papier Beau HQ after a crazy couple of months buying in London and Birmingham - keep your eyes peeled for some new stock coming in the next couple of months.

So I decided to write this blog post on party decorations - after all, who doesn't love a good party?! Here are my top tips for your party decorations, with some DIY thrown in for good measure! With Summer just around the corner, these fab decorations are just the cherry on top for any party!

1. Lanterns

Now, these are some of my favourite party decorations we have at Papier Beau. Why? Well firstly, they add such a light, bright and airy feel to any room needing a little pick-me-up, and they can also make a small space look much bigger - perfect! As well as that, they're just super cute and we LOVE them! Shop them here

2. Bunting

You cannot go wrong with bunting, seriously! We have bunting in the Malibu range - just incase we needed another reason to day dream about being on a sunny holiday, as well as the pink and white ombre bunting for those who are having a more girly party! And what's great about these buntings is that they are fabric, so no chance of them ripping and having to throw them in the bin, you can reuse over and over again. Shop our bunting here.

3. Cups & Plates

No party is complete without fancy paper plates and cups....they add that extra perfect touch for a garden party and your guests will definitely notice. And who doesn't like eating their nibbles from fancy plates and drinking Prosecco from cute paper cups?? Shop tableware here.

4. Straws

If there are no straws at the party, is it even a party?! Everyone loves a straw in their drink and it adds a tropical feel to any party....just what you need with our typical rubbish weather! Shop here.

5. DIY Projects

There's nothing like a DIY project to make you feel proud of yourself. Standing back and admiring your hard work at the end makes it all worth while. And what better way to show off your handy work than at your party.

My sisters and I recently held a baby shower for our sister and we decided to do a little DIY, and to be honest it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. Pinterest will be your best friend with all DIY projects, so don't be shy and go all out!

I hope you love the tips I've shared above, and be sure to send me some pics of your  party decorations over the Summer!
